NORD 160 S (smooth) smooth is a 3.6 mm thick, APP modified bitumen waterproofing membrane reinforced with a nonwoven polyester carrier stabilized with glass filaments.
The top surface is covered with sand and the back surface is covered with a printed burn off polyethylene film for torch application. The diamond-embossed surface provides great adhesion to the substrate during the torching operations. NORD 160 COOL has the top surface covered with sand and the underside is covered with a unique black polypropylene felt for cold adhesive applications. The underside is also diamond-embossed for improved adhesion to a compatible substrate.
